YMCKOK Print Ribbons

This printer ribbon is for dual sided Datacard printers. The YMCKOK stands for the following:



Y – Yellow

M – Magenta

C – Cyan

K- Monochrome Black

O – Overcoat

K – Monochrome Black



The yellow, magenta and cyan are the panels that provide the primary colors for printing. The three colors combine with different degrees to provide a full color spectrum. The K panel provides black for text, bar codes and more. The O is a thin, protective overlay that covers the YMCK printing. The last K panel is a black panel that will print text, bar codes and logos in black on the back of a plastic card.
